The first one watch good! Take one more look in ~ what her answer come 1b means in English - you stated that if Olaf records the ball he slides slowly backward, yet if it bounces off him he flies forward very quickly.

The trouble is the term with the ball's last velocity - all the initial velocities must be ~ above one side and also all the last velocities on the other. Also, the sphere flies backwards by itself, not with Olaf, so the term should have only the ball's mass.
